Liberty silver plated tray. The stamp looks like it's been stamped twice, overlapping slightly. Is this fake?

It's called double dying in coinage, And usually it made something more valuable to collectors. No idea how it's treated for things like that tray but If I were counterfeiting something I promise you the Maker's mark would be something that I would try to make look as good as possible.
