Please take a few minutes to introduce yourself here. Like many, I am someone who was active on both /r/diabetes and /r/diabetes_t1 over on Reddit and am hoping to recreate some semblance of a community here. I've been a T1 since 1983 and am currently using the Omnipod and Dexcom G7 with DIY Loop. Diabetes has definitely been a struggle for me at times, but I am really fortunate that I've been able to access such amazing technology.

So who else is here?

Just tried to post a new thread, but it never gets posted. Have tried using the Memmy app, also web browser. Trying a comment here to see if that works.

Edit: Well yes, that worked. Will try a new post again.

Edit 2: I still can’t create a new post, it just sits there, never completing.

It might be that Lemmy is overwhelmed. I've had that happen sometimes.

I did wonder that. I guess this weekends Reddit app stop will up the Lemmy user count.

Please try again and let me know what happens. It’s possible there’s some group setting issue, but I checked and anyone should be able to post to the group.

When I tried it again several hours later, it posted instantly.

No worries. I saw it. Thanks for confirming. Hoping to get some more activity from those migrating from reddit or just looking for an alternative.
