Why I can't see some comments from other instances? (sh.itjust.works)

As an example, if I open this post from lemmy.world, it has 5 comments: https://lemmy.world/post/488094

But if I open the same post using the sh.itjust.works, it shows only one comment: https://sh.itjust.works/post/381524

An issue I've been having is I can't reply to kbin users that comment on my stuff on Lemmy. I tried with a couple different apps and got the same result so I'm guessing that may be the expected behavior.
