In one of his old Q&As Jordan Peterson said that his IQ was over 150. Despite this apparent intelligence he spends all his time lying about climate change, trans people and "cultural Marxism", and posting joker memes and pseudo-haikus on Twitter. That's when he's not tweeting milking fetish porn or quoting a Bond villain as if his speech was a historical fact.

The guy is clearly becoming increasingly insane and unhinged, and due to his immense narcissism and overconfidence he's become completely incapable of changing his mind or legitimate academic inquiry. Even if he was as smart as he said that didn't stop him from shoving his head up his own ass and becoming increasingly stupid.

Intelligence can help, but it's obviously just one piece of a larger puzzle. What we need is to teach people how to think critically and with empathy so they won't become like or fall for con-men like Peterson.

Jordan Peterson might have originally had a 150 IQ (pretending IQ honestly means much of anything anymore), but he almost certainly doesn't after his detox. The short of it is that he was addicted to benzos, and instead of quitting the old-fashion way, he decided to try a new treatment in Russia where they put you in a coma for the duration of the typical withdrawal period. Theoretically this would be a great way of emergency treatment for hardcore addicts as you can help addicts learn coping mechanisms without having to deal with the withdrawals at the same time. However, in practice he was basically unmonitored the whole time and suffered several seizures and neurological damage.
