I love the explanation. I've noted that fans write explanations like this in a similar manner. Turns of phases, specific details, that help teach the lore to uninitiated.

I thought Slaanesh was female, and didn't know the Eldar created him.

Slaanesh can be either; it's easier to just pick a pronoun and stick with it. Slaanesh themself doesn't care.
