EA Sports has delisted its FIFA back catalogue from digital storefronts (www.videogameschronicle.com)

EA has stopped paying for the FIFA license, which is why their next game is called EA Sports FC (Football Club)

This resulted in them delisting every single FIFA game from digit storefronts, including the less than a year old FIFA 2023

Man, bear with me as I’m about sound like an absolute corporate cuck but I interned at EA during my undergrad and had a really positive experience. The work-life balance was probably the best I’ve experienced in a corporate setting.

I still won’t buy their games due to shitty monetization practices, but at least some of the profits (for the EA office I worked at) are actually funnelled into their employee’s compensation. Can’t really say that for FIFA’s oil bribes.

Well, at least that's good to hear. Glad the workers are treated well, but I'm with you otherwise. I won't be spending any money on their titles
