Realistically the only option left to WR was to appeal, and hopefully whoever the judiciary is that sits on this one was a bit more sense in it that the last lot.

This is a shit show, Yellow on the pitch, then upgraded to a red in the bunker (fully understandable) then reversed after an "independent" review, and now it's being contested again to reverse the reverse of a decision made after an original decision...

I was very surprised the red card was reversed... Seems like World Rugby is backpedaling hard to undo what they did just so Faz can play in the world cup as a direct result from none england and england fans alike thinking it was a clear and obvious red and world rugby is corrupt.

It wasn't WR that did it. It was the Independent Judiciary Committee - which likely got appointed by 6 Nations as they were the folks responsible for organising the tests.
