Does anyone know how fast those Lime scooters can go vs how fast it actually goes? Rode one today and was easily overtaken by private eScooters even though I was flooring that thing with my thumb HARD.
@goodviking @bot001 those private scooters are almost certainly over the legal limit, which I think is 250w, but you can buy them for "off road" use with larger motors. nobody checks of course, but the scooter share companies have to offer legal vehicles for sure.
20kph they're limited to
faster than the wait time for an orthopaedic surgeon appointment.
