Morena. A wet, windy and a bit of an unpleasant day up here, hope it’s nicer where you are.
Started watching a new BBC tv series Wolf last night. Hmmm, a bit unusual. Will stick with it to see how it goes.
Got anything interesting planned for today?
I'm in New Plymouth at the moment, it just poured with rain but now there are blue patches of sky. I don't have anything interesting planned for today on account of I have a cold. Maybe the fifth time I've been sick in the last two months 🙁
The general cough/cold/flu stuff is hitting everyone we know. We’ve gone back to wearing masks when out.
I haven't been out that much. It has probably come from family in some shape or form.
We report to https://www.flutracking.net/ every week. Not sure if it helps but maybe.
We are in a flu study. Every sniffle or cough they swab us and report back on what they found. I had the flu only a week ago, though got a minor dose of it. They also check for COVID and a dozen different cold viruses.
I am very experienced at doing PCR swabs on myself!
The current flu/cold type of infections are so varied, and the severity ranges from being just a nuisance to a severe malaise, it’s no wonder so many are feeling poorly.
Well done for doing the study, all the info they can get will help others.
