Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). 3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. 4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

I think that goes without saying. The court case is nonstop free press for Trump leading up to the election, and unfortunately would probably net him some undecided votes if he wins it. It's basically just 24/7 advertising to his base.

I fear we're seeing a repeat of 2016 in that regard. I wish the media would just stop talking about him until there's a verdict.

Convicted Sex Offender Treason Trump did not have 6 court cases against him in 2016. He has already been found guilty of sexual assault by a jury but the Nazi affiliated media didn't report it.

More nonstop bad press for Convicted Sex Offender Treason Trump.

and unfortunately would probably net him some undecided votes if he wins it.

Pretty doubtful. He has about 6 active court cases. Ridiculous to spin that as a good thing. He is not only going to be losing he is going to prison.

It’s basically just 24/7 advertising to his base.

Those idiots are already idiots. Imagine how depressing it will be on election day to vote for a candidate who is sitting in prison.

Owning the press cycle is the Drumph Campaigns super power, just keep getting onto the front page and make sure you spell the name right…

I believe it when it happens. Not yet.

It's crazy. I think every rational person in the US knows that trump should be in jail for a long, long time. But there is zero chance of him going to jail. At best (which would still be something given my lack of expectations) he'll end up on house arrest. Which he'll violate and nothing will happen.

[–] Plagiatus 2 points 1 year ago

I'd be grateful for a "can't be president anymore" for starters. Though I would prefer to also see him rot in jail for the rest of his life. Then again, even if he'll probably go to some cushy high profile jail.

If it’s just on the merits, he can’t win it.

The entire process of them asking for documents back is heavily documented, and at the point you’ve got FBI agents with a warrant walking out with classified documents…. As incontrovertible proof he lied about not having them and was actively refusing to return them.
