Is this real? I'd jail break my car immediately if this happened.

I'd take it back and demand a full refund. This is a dangerous, irresponsible product that does not fulfil the purpose it was marketed for.

How do you prove any of those points for a return? Presumably they don't show anything while in motion and it does drive so how does it not fulfill its purpose?

Instead, you can return it in 6 months when the engine is blown because it's a piece of Stellantis garbage.

Safety isn't a thing that only happens when in motion. Checking your surroundings when stopped so you know when to go is important.

But he'll, I think video billboards should be banned too.

Merely driving from a to b is not the only purpose. They've sold it as being able to safely navigate, control your media, etc. If they were upfront and said "you cannot safely update your navigation or play/pause media while at lights, because we show ads", they'd be in the clear. But by the accounts I've heard, it seems they didn't tell people ahead of time what they were buying.

yep, the good thing about capitalism is we can now watch the capital pivot away from jeep 😃

Like when everyone pivoted away from gas stations that play ads on the screens? People will keep buying their emotional support SUVs, they don't care.

FYI, one of the eight buttons usually mutes the audio. If you press and hold the top two buttons, it goes into service mode and lets you pump gas in peace. The service mode times out eventually.
