Obviously I didn't make the watch itself, but I have a different style to me, so of course I needed to make a custom band.

Don't ask how much it costed me, too much, but plenty of extra material.

cool 80s style but i doubt it would help much in a real fight. imagine trying to use your wrist as a fist. theres pocket tazers instead. or even a small bag of coins would make your fist much more damaging.

Those spikes are purely stylistic...

[–] Num10ck 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

they should be. the posters comment says otherwise.

Oh, I don't see such a comment

they said: Third revision, this thing is a beast!

I dunno, just got tired of the crazies out there, so I wanted to gear up with something for self defense.

I've never had to actually use any of these, and I hope I never need to, but I ain't about to take any crap from any nutjobs out there.

Oh lmao

Maybe just a good old knife would be easier, or a pepper spray

[–] Num10ck 2 points 2 months ago

yea pretty much anything. maybe a metal yo-yo.

What about as defense from punches?

[–] Num10ck 1 points 2 months ago

its too small to be a shield. if you do manage to maim an attacker they would be more likely to get angry enough to kill you.

If I flip the watch over where the spikes are on the outside, it can totally devastate someone's face with a good backhanded wrist slap. Those spikes are mounted into 4mm thick genuine top shelf leather, so I won't feel a damn thing.

Believe me, I've passively tested it a few times on trees before, I'd rather get punched with brass knuckles than this thing. I've never had to use it on a person before, and I surely hope I never need to.
