If I were keeping an eye on a species that was mostly comprised of individuals who couldn't create or repair said species most destructive technologies but were imminently willing to use them I'd make it my business to know what I was dealing with. ๐Ÿคท

you just made me realize we've been searching for alien life wrong.

instead of sending worthless drones out we should be sending out honeypots of high energy "treasures".

Think about it. If you were an advanced civilization, would you waste your time to look at a fucking heap of garbage floating through space? Or would you go out of your way to gather resources that you could actually use to power your own technology?
