  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

MODERATORS

Summary

Senate Democrats are working to confirm up to 30 of President Biden’s federal judicial nominees before the new Republican-led Congress is seated on January 3.

With Biden’s 214 judicial appointments so far, he could surpass the number Trump achieved in his first term if pending nominees are confirmed.

This rush is driven by Democrats’ desire to solidify Biden’s legacy of liberal appointees, especially as Trump prepares to assume office with a Republican Senate. The tight schedule will depend on high Democratic attendance and the support of moderate Republicans.

Trump, meanwhile, has called for Democrats to halt approvals, sparking accusations of hypocrisy.

Fuck Biden for not packing the SC over the last 4 fucking years what the fuck. We lost RBG, and they get boof-master fratboy.

In their defense, they did try to get RBG to resign at the end of Obama's term, but she refused, thinking Hillary would win.

She was wrong. Dead wrong. Unfortunately.

Fuck the DNC for propping up a dynasty (Clintons) to follow another (Bushs) instead of bringing an actual leftist to fight the all right. Fuck Hillary Clinton for embodying it.

Circling the drain.
