When was that? Like 2008? Or are you talking about the ultra slim margin we had that was composed of bait and switch Sinema and Ol' House Boat Manchin?
it's always one or 2 democrats and it will always be; it was lieberman the last time before sinema and manchin.
Always is a terrible word. We need to ensure that filibuster removal is run on and believed by all Democrats we elect so even if it is 51/49, we can change the filibuster rule or remove it entirely.
they won't even admit that something huge like a genocide is taking place; what chances are there for something small like a rule change with get any attention?

If we'd had 55 senators, Manchin and Sinema would have been irrelevant. Vote Democrat.

Give the democrats a real majority. They will certainly fuck some things up because the corporations can't have senators doing their job but at least let's see how progressive these Dems can really be.
