This community is mainly for discussions between those who are building generators. For discussions about using generators, especially the popular AI ones, the community-led Casual Perchance forum is likely a more appropriate venue.

- Please be kind to others on this community (and also in general), and remember that for many people Perchance is their first experience with coding. We have members for whom English is not their first language, so please be take that into account too :)
3. Be thankful to those who try to help you.
- If you ask a question and someone has made a effort to help you out, please remember to be thankful! Even if they don't manage to help you solve your problem - remember that they're spending time out of their day to try to help a stranger :)
4. Only post about stuff related to perchance.
- Please only post about perchance related stuff like generators on it, bugs, and the site.
5. Refrain from requesting Prompts for the AI Tools.
- We would like to ask to refrain from posting here needing help specifically with prompting/achieving certain results with the AI plugins (
text-to-image-pluginandai-text-plugin) e.g. "What is the good prompt for X?", "How to achieve X with Y generator?" - See Perchance AI FAQ for FAQ about the AI tools.
- You can ask for help with prompting at the 'sister' community Casual Perchance, which is for more casual discussions.
- We will still be helping/answering questions about the plugins as long as it is related to building generators with them.
6. Search through the Community Before Posting.
- Please Search through the Community Posts here (and on Reddit) before posting to see if what you will post has similar post/already been posted.

Was just letting you know. I mean, I had hoped you were aware of the issues, like the summaries being unusable despite the recent update. I was just concerned that I never saw like a 'I'm aware of the issues. May take some time." or something, lol.
Seeing the A.I. chat disappear from the top-bar freaked me out a little, though. (I just checked the site in incognito mode and it's still missing. I've refreshed pages. Dunno.)
And, I really, super appreciate that you're doing your utmost to keep things free, but seriously, if you had like a ko-fi or anything, I'd be happy to throw a little money your way. No strings attached, just appreciation for this amazing app. I'm not a developer, just a user, but it's like...my favorite thing now, lol. I can't wait for the summaries and memories to come back because it's pretty...hard to keep a story coherent right now, lol.

Weird. I'm curious - can you try in guest mode? I.e. if in chrome, then click the avatar in the top right (to the left of the 3 vertical dots) and then click the "Guest" profile.
Summaries should have been working fine, but I think I just discovered the and fixed the bug that was causing this - thanks!! Memories hopefully will be added back in the next few days (otherwise keep pestering via the feedback button to move it up my todo list).
Trust me, they haven't been. The AI hasn't been able to remember anything beyond the immediate messages in whatever range it has. (Could you tell me the range, approximately?)
I've just checked /sum again, and get an error that says the thread isn't long enough for a summary (no way to regenerate or anything. The thread is super long, lol.) Edit: did try triggering A.I. responses, but in the little status area where it shows "mem/lore queries" "generating" etc. It just skips straight to "generating" every time.
It is nothing much, I have seen this since like, last year. (Sorry I didn't report this 💀)
Most of the time it goes away when I refresh it, kinda like Lemmy, where it does not logs me in automatically until I refresh.
