Grab a tow rope or two and hook up a few of them together.
If they are ignorant in parking like this ... chances are they will never notice that a tow rope is attached to that hitch.
It'd be fun to watch them take off and make a mess pulling a truck after leading 30 feet of tow rope.
I don't know why this was also my exact same first thought
