@guitars Hi everyone. What do y'all think of this? Is 'Grote' a dirty word? I mean, it's probably the worst name for a guitar company ever. Would you ever own one?

„De grote“ is Dutch for „the big“ or „the great“.

@7uWqKj ah, that's interesting. I wonder if that's where it comes from.

In English 'grote' sounds like it might be what makes things 'grotty' which means unpleasant. It also sounds like 'grout' which isnt the most glamorous thing in the world.

Now that I know what it means in Dutch it sounds much better to my ear 😅 Bedankt!
